Well its arrived and I have to say I'm very impressed indeed. The unit itself is lovely to hold, great piece of product design. Its really quick to set up and get going as well. The display is breath taking, very very crisp and sharp, not at all like looking at a computer screen/Ipad etc, E-ink perfectly describes it!
I also bought the case with built in lamp, although a little pricey I think its definitely worth it, the lamp is ace and runs off the Kindle so no need to charge/batteries.
Calibre software though is a MUST! Takes all the effort out of arranging your collection which is the only negative I have come across on the device, not a deal breaker but not the best implementation, a minor quibble really for what is a fantastic piece of kit.
I'm really pleased I made the jump, a really great "reader" if you want to play games or watch videos etc that's why you bought a computer! lol
Now then, cup of tea, biscuits time to settle down to a great book!
P.S I never leave reviews on Amazon so this should tell you how happy I am with it ;)

The range of activities this ipod enables is unbelievable to some one of my age. I can reply to emails dictating my replies. I can telephone my friends on skype. I can look up words in most common language and hear their pronunciation. I have a star guide, a bird guide with songs. The apps were either free or cost pence. It is a PDA, GPS and walkman as well. The only requirement is that one can access wi-fi.
An Ipad that fits in ones pocket.

I read the reviews before buying and I have to say, I have not been disappointed. This speaker really is tiny and produces a lot of sound for its size. Works perfectly with my ipod, my phone and my laptop. Highly recommended.
