Does the job but I have nothing to compare it with so don't know if there is any difference between this one for a couple of quid and an expensive one from the shop. It does stop every so often when the tape "turns over" but only for a second or two then its off again. I would rather put up with this than pay a fortune to have a new system put in. Seems like really good value to me.

Worth it... eventually!, 2010-02-18
I bought this as a present. The advert said that it was available in a choice of colours, and to email them with your colour choice when you had ordered it.

I ordered it, and sent the email asking for a red one. Later, I got an email from them, via Amazon, asking me what it was that I had ordered(!) I replied with the order number, the product name and code, and all the other details I could think of. A short time later, I got another email, again via Amazon, saying that they had my order and it would be despached. Delivery was efficient and it arrived safely.

It all seemed a bit complicated. Why can't you specify your choice of colour when you order it? Anyway, it had arrived. Then we tried to read the instruction booklet. It was written in a strange Chinese English and was unintentionally funny. Curiously, some of it seemed to have been copied from some handwritten instructions. There was a frequent use of a "c", in place of an "e" and so on. According to the booklet, the Player has a choice of languages; Chinese, traditional Chinese or Engling(sic)! The quick-start card was in English and made sense, but some of the menu options were not shown.

The Player itself is a good product but it is let down by the poor instructions. The ordering system is a hassle, but they were very helpful.

I've always experimented with different headphones, but non will match up to the originals, although they are a hefty price they come with a standard 1 year warranty, and provide brilliant sound, I have recently purchased these after being scammed several times with cheap or low quality headphones, once you buy the original I'm sure you'll be happy, these headphones work with all apple devices and the mic and volume buttons are compatible with only the newer iphones & ipods, i currently use these for my iPhone 2G (The First Generation one), and can't say that they are under-performing at all. Really Pleased and top buy, in the long run it's better just to buy the originals.

This is probably the best ipod touch case to choose from. It is thick and sturdy. I have not found any faults in it at all.

If you read the title; It is the best silicone case for the touch. Don't be fooled by any companies with higher prices about facts such as- SWIMSUIT MATERIAL or WATERPROOF. This is still silicone material. So if it looked better than this- that is the only reason you should change your mind.
So as a conclusion BUY THIS over the more expensive options as there is no difference apart from looks.

I wanted a splitter so I could have my pc speakers and my midi system plugged in through my soundcard at the same time so I wouldn't have to keep plugging and unplugging while gaming. This Belkin splitter arrived quickly, its quality, excellent. For such a small and cheap piece of kit the plugs are gold plated and the wire fairly thick. I played some music through both sets of speakers and detected no degradation whatsoever. Very happy with this purchase. Recommended.

Philips SHS8000/00 Earhook Headphones

After a long search THE BEST OUT THERE BY FAR, 2010-02-19
I've tried several heaphones, most with distinct dis-satisfaction at tinnyness, non fitting earbuds, crackling and much more. I have an iPod and and iPhone and both the standard issue and in the in-ear Apple headpones are dire. The first dying within weeks. The latter fitting terribly and falling out of my ears no matter which buds i used AND being terribly tinny and crackly.

Other brands of lesser and higher price than these Philips SHS8000's all failed similarly to Apple ones.

These Philips headphones are a breath of fresh air. The sound is fantastic. They fit in my ears superbly and do not fall out. I love how the cable has a connection in it so you can fit in and handset control for the majority of most phone makes (have a look on the philips uk website).

I would like to clear up one issue though I've found with most in-ear headphones. YOU WILL ALWAYS GET NOISE TRAVELLING UP THE CABLES IF YOU MOVE AROUND A LOT. Unless you're prepared to spend hideous amounts of money (and i mean £100's) then you will not find a pair of in ear headphones that don't transport noise up the cables. That said these philips headphones minimise it the best so i've seen (or heard!) far.

I'm utterly chuffed I've finally found a decent set of in ears that fit well and sound fab. They've made me want to listen to music on my ipod/iphone again (i had stopped because it has just become so unenjoyable and such a hassle).

However. There is one suppllier who supply on Amazon I would avoid like the plague. I probably cannot mention their name here for legal reasons, but they're not a UK supplier. You may be able to find out who they are through my feedback I've left. I don't know.

I love these headphones so much I've also purchased the similar model with a dedicated remote built in Philips SHS8005 (white) to use with my iphone.

All I can say is Philips have really hit the mark here at a really decent price.
