As with some other reviews the Griffin PowerJolt is not a 100% fit. However with a bit of insulation tape wrapped at the end it fits perfect in my Audi A4 and does not move about. As for charging, works a dream with my Sony Ericsson X1i and HTC Legend plugged in together. The power output is 5v 500mA (standard computer USB output) per socket. Would recommend this to anybody!

Very good piece of kit, 2010-08-06
I have been wondering for months what FM transmitter to buy to listen to my iPod (on my iPhone) in my car for ages and I finally decided on this one as it has a built in cradle (so no need to spend extra money on top to buy a cradle). At £50 it is quite expensive but is definitely worth the money!!

Sound quality is very good, easy to use, charges quite quickly when plugged in and it also fits iPhones with cases (which I don't think it actually says on the advert but it does on the box), this is a major plus for me as I have quite a chunky case which I just cannot be bothered to take off everytime, but no need with this one!!

One thing I would say though is bear in mind where your cigarette lighter is! Mine is down in front of the gear stick so the transmitter needs to be out in exactly the right place otherwise I keep hitting it when changing gear.

Excellent product that works on iPhone 4 as well as others below! Excellent clarity playing back music!! I have set it up with sat nav on my iphone and it plays back voice instructions through my car speakers while also charging the device!!! Couldn't live without this in my car now!! Highly recommended and excellent price, so much cheaper than it's alternatives!!!

works great and does what it says on the tin.

Some people have mentioned it not fitting in their cigarette lighter but i have a mazda and it fits fine. The coiled cord is good as it minimises the amount of loose wire flapping around your car, yet still more than enough wire to reach a dashboard or window mount for sat nav uses. Quality seems good, and feels sturdy enough. I've has other Griffin products in the past and they have all been good quality.

I bought these for my autistic son who was constantly turning up the volume to 'full blast'. As I could hear it from the next room would constantly shout "turn it down". The headphones are fantastic - not just for special needs children but normal as well - seriously thinking about purchasing a second set for my teenage son. Griffin are to be complimented on supplying a product that will protect our children's hearing. Thank you Griffin.

Great for 3G or 3GS, doesn't work with iPhone 4, 2010-06-29
This is a great little dock for the 3G and 3GS. However do not buy one for the iPhone 4, the inserts do not fit the casing of the 4 properly, and Apple have moved the speaker from the left to the right. This means that the duct which channels sound is on the wrong side of the aircurve. One way around this would be to dock the phone back to front. Not ideal but would work.

Works as expected. Good price on Amazon. Sound quality similar to listening to an FM radio station. Only downside is finding free radio frequencies in different areas, but once these are set in the memory, all is good. In general, I have been very happy with the purchase.

Build quality of this item is excellent, and works first time out of the box with no problems on my HTC Desire. Now at least i can listen to my music with decent headphones (lets face it the ones supplied with the HTC Desire are very poor anyway). Handsfree calling works a treat with it as well, and no complaints from the other caller re sound quality etc from the mic
