I bought a new Windows 7 Fujitsu desktop and had great difficulty in trying to connect it to my existing home network either by Ethernet cable or wireless.

My Netgear DG834GT router/modem was, and still is, working fine both wired and wirelessly with other PCs running XP and Vista.

I tried using a Netgear WG111T adaptor that I knew worked with both a laptop and another desktop. The Netgear adaptor driver could not be installed on the new desktop, an error occurred everytime and installation was terminated. However, it must be said that the Netgear dongle continues to work with the other PCs.

So, with the Windows 7 desktop there was no success until I downloaded an unofficial driver from the internet (not from Netgear). With this driver installed on the desktop, some success ensued, although only spasmodic connectivity was achieved, despite the Netgear router and Netgear dongle being within inches of each other.

System diagnostics indicated that all was fine with the new PC and my ISP knew of no issues between the router and Windows 7. So everything was fine but did not work!

Turning to Amazon, I bought the dongle being reviewed and virtually instant connection between the new desktop and the router/modem was established. This has remained stable since installation.

So, with this modestly priced dongle, I now have good connectivity with the home network and internet. As a bonus, I have got rid of one cable from my desk, in itself a small victory.

I HAVE TRIED A FEW WIRED TRANSMITTERS THAT ARE CONNECTED THROUGH THE JACK POINT ON MY IPOD TOUCH BUT THS PRODUCT IS WAY BETTER THAN ANY I HAVE TRIED. LOVE THE REMOTE.

There's not much to say, this battery works very well, it holds its charge well and fits easily into the camera and the charger. Best if all -- it's cheaper than a genuine Canon battery and seems to be just as good.
