Highly recommended. The screen protectors provided are great quality, easy to apply and seem to be lasting well, don't know if I'll ever use all 12. I bought some from another supplier for my Digi camera that were nowhere near this quality.

the screen protectors anre realy good value for money and go on easy with the suppyed cloth and squeegy, they fit almost perfectly apart fron having to cut the lugs off by the keys as its been cut a little too tight to fit.

still well worth it though for a pack of 12

Great Alternative to the Expensive Tom Tom iPhone Harness, 2010-01-21
For the price, this is a great piece of kit. The iPhone fits fine (though I haven't tried it with a case on, I think you'd need to remove it before slotting it into the holder). The sucker sticks to the windscreen rigidly even if sometimes it takes a few goes to get it to adhere. I find cleaning the screen with a tissue first helps and it's harder to stick it if the glass is very cold. Once stuck, it won't come away unless you need it to.

The Tom Tom car holder costs around £100 and is stronger in build and has built in speakers and amplifier. However, I find that the volume from the iPhone's inbuilt speakers are enough unless you have your music blaring away whilst navigating...

Only criticisms are the the wire on the charger could be longer. In my car, which has a narrow dash board, it's fine, but in my wife's VW Touran, the dash is quite wide and the 12v socket is down by the gearstick. This stretches the cable to it's limit and puts a bit of pressure on the plug where it slots into the iPhone. Also, the arm securing it to the windscreen isn't quite long enough to protrude beyond the edge of the dash board so the plug ends up not being flush with the female socket on the iPhone. A minor point as I was still able to position it so as not to put too much strain on the iPhone socket. I also stretched the curly wire straight so it doesn't tug on the iPhone too much.

For the price, you can't go wrong, especially if like me you only use the Tom Tom software on the iPhone occasionally.

Bought this in the afternoon and got it the day after, extremely impressed! Overall this product is very good however, sometimes, iTunes has a tendency to not recognise it, however this is fixed by taking it out then putting back in!

Can charge the remote with the motion plus attached. It is still a bit of a problem though if you have a case for the remote. It is a pain to get off with the motion plus sensor.
