Really useful. The guns only come with enough darts for one clip and they get lost easily. These were cheap and plentiful. Also durable! I found one chewed by a cat and it still fired ok!

Brilliant game for the whole family (mum, dad, children aged 6 and 8). Best thing is that you can play a "quick" game for approx. 5 min. filling in time just before dinner or lunch ... or you can play the long version (the first to get f.ex. 6 cards is the winner). Very educational - cannot wait to buy more of the other brain boxes.

After my girlfriend bought me the ludicrous Vulcan machine nerf gun I got hooked on these great toys!

I bought the Maverick as a second defence against my house mates since reloading the ammo belt for the Vulcan takes forever.

It's surprisingly powerful this gun and I've had endless fun chasing people around with it, the only downside is that it's so fun that all my house mates have now bought their own Nerf guns!

Really solid design, nice and sturdy with a satisfying cocking action each time you fire.

You NEED, and I cannot emphasise this enough to buy the extra dart pack! The darts just go missing no matter how hard you try to keep track of them.

LEGO Toy Story 7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue

I'm a big kid. I didnt buy this toy for my nieces or nephews, i bought it for myself, and I'm 25!

Lego, long time favourite of children and adults alike, have teamed up with Toy Story brilliantly on this model. The car has a pull back and let go little 'motor' allowing it to speed ahead, which is great in itself

The figures are neat. Buzz can be attached to his rocket and has little wings too.

Colour wise both the packaging and models look lovely, very striking.

The model is very easy to build. Took me about 10 minutes, and any kid, from ago 7+ would take no more than 20-30minutes, and probably could do it without parental help.

Pros:
Fun design, great to play with (my cats love chasing the model as it wizzes by), good colours, and unusual parts and peices

Cons:
The little peices from the front of the car come off quite easily, as does Buzz's visor.

For the price its pretty good, you get three items for your money: Buzz, Woody and a pull back car.

this has to be the best - yet most straight forward - game ever invented...and oh highly addicitve too! I love scrabble but sometimes it can drag on - this is the high speed version! After the initial round of getting your bearungs - you are off! If you have a competitive streak then beware it will come out with a passion and a vengence!! Put it this way - my partener and I started playing this one night with friends after a curry - 6 hours later it was after 3 am and the scores were, well lets say I has won 20 games, next person was about 15 ...you get the picture!
If you buy no other game this christmas buy this one - its a must!

Medical Carrycase

We recently moved from another country and had to leave my daughters doctor kit behind. She loved it so I purchased this for her. It isn't of high quality that her past one is, but for the toy that it is, it is good enough. Plastic may break if it was jumped or stepped on, but seems quite good. I'd give it a medium for quality. Definitely worth the money and lots of fun. She hasn't stopped playing doctor since we got it.

VTech Kidizoom Plus Multimedia Digital Camera (Blue)

One of my sons friends came to his 6th birthday party with this camera and he was so interested in it he asked for one. Its chunky and solid , takes good pictures but the best part is the things you can do to enhance those pictures - put bars in front of their face or bend their face out of shape- fantastic fun and lots of entertainment value. Alomg with the games you can play on it, keeps him quiet for hours. Infact my 9 year old is dead jealous and she has a proper digital camera!

Apple iPod touch 32GB (Launched Sept 2009)

So much better than Creative Zen, 2010-08-28
My daughter's new Creative Zen had problems and the lovely people at Amazon replaced it; sadly the replacement had the same problem and we elected to switch to an iPod Touch 32gb. She loved it from the outset and still adores it now. I can't comment on problems with WiFi access, apps and suchlike but she seems thrilled with it - and, even though previously she was a Zen diehard, she wouldn't go back. I'm just thrilled with the Amazon service and won't hesitate to buy more electronic devices from them because their after sales service was as brilliant as pre-sales. Thank you.
