there is a great deal of info in this book concerning the system of magic taught to dee & kelley by the angelic guides, and this book is very interesting, but this is very complex ritual magic and not as the title suggests for beginners

There was some stuff that was hard to understand. But I guess it was me. As for a beginner, I believe this book is a good source of Dr. John Dee's and Edward Kelley's works. It shows the basic knowledge of Enochian Magick. Although it WILL TAKE AWHILE TO ABSORB THE INFORMATION. There is a lot of information in this book, and it may even take as much as reading the book twice or so to understand the basic concept. Enochian Magick is very complex and I believe the author probably had a hard time to organize the information but I think he just did fine. I recomend others to use "Enochian Magic: A Practical Manual" along with this book to get a good introduction to the complex system of Enochian and the Angelic Magick.

This book is very interesting,Theres alot of information about dr dee and kelley.Give a good insight about how they discovered angel magic.Inside there are secret chants to the summon angels. This book is a really good grimoire of the lost magic of the angels. This book is really good for the experainced magician.

My knowledge of enochian magic is mainly from the interpretion of these revelations via the GOLDEN DAWN. However Tyson makes it clear this is only half the story, based on part of Dr. John Dee's writings which were found after his death. Other writings found later give a fuller picture of the alleged angelic revelations. This is an excellent book which includes the Golden Dawn Enochian interpretation. Finally, the book's title may give the impression the subject matter is simple. IT'S NOT. IT'S EXCELLENT VALUE.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5 Again another impractical book, 2004-10-23
I found this book, after i read through it all, to be much the same as 'lesser key of the solomon king' no, not in referance to what entities you work with, but the impractical nature of it all. It is all good and well if you can doodle up these intricate drawings, find yourself the materials and time to perform the rituals included in the book. But for the most part, its not worth your money.

It does however go into detail about other things, such as the history of enochian magick and its founders, so could be included in ones collection under 'referance' but thats the only place i would put, the rather difficult-to-read nature of it also guarantees its place there.
