Simply the most useful and generous account of the enochian, 2001-09-20 This book seems to have it all. A short concise history of Dee and his extraordinary visions a link with Crowley and finally the complete dictionary of the Enochian Language. There is tremendous respect for this language across the board of occult users it is a must buy for anyone interested in Crowley or in simply the art of real magickal traditions. You cannot work wihout it so get your credit card out. This book enables one to decipher and construct talesmatic images with total accuracy. The contrasts with Crowley's work give boundless food for thought. The majestic language itself is transporting in itself - the section on dealing with the pronoucement of letters is worth the wait and the fiddle. There is nothing yet to superceed this. Simply buy it you will treasure it believe me!
A Good basic book, 2004-08-09 This book provides a good basic gramar for the Enochian language. It also has a fairly good althuogh slightly biased history of the language. It is a useful tool for those who wish to study the angelic langauage of Dr. Dee.
Most Excellent, 2007-01-06 An excellent analysis of the original source material, I must admit that I had trouble putting it down. The only drawback I could find is that the actual analysis of Dee and Kelley and their seances and so forth only last about 70 pages. This, however is not the purpose of the book, according to its title.
All in all a wonderful book and I give it my highest recommendation.
A CLASSIC REISSUED - WITH A TOUCH OF DUQUETTE, 2002-04-04 For over 20 years Enochian magick has been my passion and magical "drug" of choice. I've evoked many of the elemental spirits and am continuing my personal initiatory career by systematically exploring the 30 Aethyrs of the system. There are four or five texts that are absolutely indispensable if one is serious about taking up his complex art. The first one I would recommend is "The Enochian World of Aleister Crowley" by Lon Milo DuQuette and Christopher Hyatt. Next would be Laycock's Complete Enochian Dictionary. I am so happy to see that this has been reissued. My first edition has nearly turned to dust. A new introduction by DuQuette, where he actually describes an evocation of an elemental angel, is priceless...and a bit reassuring. My highest recommendation. -- R.D. Potter
Splended summary of the Enochian lingo., 1998-12-18 The book tells alot of useful info. Great for a 4*=7* or higher.
