Do not buy this rubbish, 2010-07-06 I brought this game for my son and he is most upset. My son is a top Gamer and sailed through "Meddle of Honer" in just a few days clocking up 300 kills in just one afternoon , I was told this game was "wonderful" so I got it for his DS and he hated it. Its all about going round with some silly man in a silly hat with a young boy who does not do anything , and all these people just give you math's tests and stupid games moving match sticks and working out the weight of apples...
It would be better if the old man had a gun and went around shooting the village folk , or maybe got to tie them up and beat them up until they reveil where the gold is or what ever the point to this waste of time is all about.
Even the car at the start is rubbish , I have "Grand theft auto" and a few car chases would not go a miss to liven up this stupid game..
If you enjoy "shoot-em-ups" as much as me ...avoid this one !!
Good game to test your brain., 2010-07-17 This is the kind of game to test your brain, ok so mine may not be the best around for working out puzzles but for anyone that likes a bit of a challenge then go ahead and purchase the first of these, when you have completed it you can move on to the newer versions.
I will think about purchasing the next one in line when I finish this one.
fun and smart, 2010-06-05 a great game, the beginning of a great series. a must have for anyone who enjoys solving puzzles and problems.
Good buy, 2010-06-01 My 12 year old loves this game. Acording to child Dr Layton and his side kick look for the golden apple. Lots of clues and puzzles. Some clues are really useful, some child is not too sure about, but problem solving is what it is all about. Really enjoys playing game. Good buy.
fun for all, 2010-07-12 This game is fun for all the family. I enjoyed it as an adult and my two daughters 16 and 11 both loved it, can't wait for the next one to come out
