bought this product for my two young daughters 3 & 7 who both love having their nails done. It was very easy to use and the results were fantastic, i even did my own nails. the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is simply because i was sent the metallics and not the pastels i ordered.

I've been after one of these for ages and my boyfriend finally got me one for christmas. They're absolutely fantastic!
I own an inexcusable amount of nail varnish and I am forever attempting to create new designs using regular nail varnish brushes. I have been saying since I was about 8 years old that someone should figure out a way to put nail varnish in a pen, and now they have! And, my, does it work wonderfully!
Each bottle has a dual applicator - one: unscrew the whole lid to reveal a very fine detail brush that is fantastic for creating different "wave" effects, and therefore can be used to make all sorts of highly delicate patterns. And two: pop off the top of the lid to find a very thin 'nib', just like on a pen, that is surprisingly simple to use, (I personally enjoy using this feature to draw stickmen).
As for the extra features, the tips it gives you in the leaflet are fantastic and easy to follow. The full body paint brush works better than a regular nail varnish brush. The glitter is very fine and applies well to the nails. The gems are run of the mill but lovely none the less. And as for the DVD, I havn't even bothered with it yet but I'm still willing to give this product a full 5 stars, even if the DVD is rubbish it's still a 5 star product!
AS FOR THIS PARTICULAR SET: some of the colours are a little pale and need a couple of coats, they work best against dark or pale backgrounds, but don't show too well on more neutral colours. Highly recommended but I would suggest getting the Origional Colours set first for a more versatile range.

Bought this for my 12 year old daughter - she loved it, pens great for detailing, good range of colours but actual nail varnish did not stay on for long.

Great little set. In nice box, good choice of colours. Would make a great gift. I do wish the silver was slightly thicker though, did not show up very much on white tips (french manicure). But got this at a great price on Amazon compared to Argos. x
